This is such an immature argument - the one about betting against your team and being a "true supporter" ffs grow up. If you think the price is right and your team is not going to win a perfectly rational and loyal supporter would be an idiot to do anything other than bet on the opposition if they were inclined to have a bet. If you can't compartmentalise finances from your heart call me for a bet each week i'd love to take your call. It's got nothing to do with what you want, it's what you think with a perfectly functioning brain - some on here don't seem to have one of those - they seem to have an underdeveloped brain that has to push something out in order to put something new in.

Where did all this DCE love from NRL fans suddenly come from? The guy hasn't done anything as the main man in his NRL career and now suddenly he is the saviour of the Roosters. So we sign DCE to play 6 or 7? If it's the former when has he ever done it? If it's the latter then you can kiss Walker goodbye and in 3 years time we can go back to the dilemma of who the future halves pairing is when they both leave at the same time.

You're just pissing in the wind like other like minded folk on here - random meaningless bollocks - but one thing you and others will always need to understand is, I support the club Sydney and Central Coast Roosters, i.e. players, coaching staff and officials and board win, lose or draw.
If they have a dig irrespective of moments and results and don't give up, then criticism is unwarranted and criticism of players , coaches and board will always be responded too.
Tell me or explain to all of us who would bet against their team to miss the 8 and come last though?

Maybe we do go hard for DCE and many supporters aren't onboard.
But it don't matter what any of us think it's what the Club wants. Why would Trent and I guess Nick want him ? Pretty obvious, they figure he can contribute.
Will he win us a title ? No, because we're lacking in some key positions.
Will he school our halves ?
Yeah I reckon he'll help their development.
.
But it's not real fare putting SS in the crosshairs, he's a newbie but a heap of responsibility early in his career.

And I agree DCE wouldn’t win us a comp. Just like Cronk alone didn’t win us a comp. We are quite a few ingredients away from winning a comp. Robson will help, as will a fit Sam Walker but we need another couple of strike weapons to have any chance. We all love Coops but he walked into a team with prime Cordner, prime Friend, prime Keary, a young and motivated Latrell, a young and motivated Manu and so many other quality players like Toops, strike players like Fergo and then BMoz. DCE drastically improves us from where we are now but still leaves us short of a comp winning side.

I doubt the Club would bring in DCE to just be a mentor to our younger halves..
DCE would be coming to win a comp, and I’m sure Uncle Nick will do everything possible to strengthen the weak areas in our team to give him the best opportunity.
