  • That’s on the halves

Absolutely woeful by Sandon and Townsend. I haven’t seen a halves performance as bad as that for a while.

Sandon in particular should have been hooked he was that bad. Totally insipid display in the final third.

Can we not orchestrate a midseason early transfer for DCE? He couldn’t come quicker!

Warriors broke their 8 game draught against us last week. Titans now break an 11 game draught. How low have we dropped. This is BS from players to the coaches to the recruitment.

Possibly the worst Halves pairing in history.
DCE is signed, sealed & delivered after tonight & SE can play bush footy somewhere as he’s not an NRL standard player unfortunately.

The coach should apologise for that performance. Embarrassing.

The coach will come up with some waffle that means nothing but sounds good - time for a change I think he may have lost the room we don’t seem to have a decent plan (s) to win

Give young Rodwell a run next week. Can't be worse than what we saw tonight.

Sandon was at least having a crack but unfortunately for him, when you're the only playmaker in the side having a go, it's pretty easy for the defence to number up on all of your plays.

I don't rate Sandon Smith as highly as some but I also think the melodramatic commentary from some on him is over the top too. He's a decent young 5/8 who's trying to find his feet.

By the end of the game Radley was pretty much having to play halfback because Townsend just wasn't sited in good ball. No young 5/8 is thriving in those circumstances.

I would prefer Brendan Hall and Kurt Sherlock over the current halves, and that’s saying something..

I don’t really see much in Savala as well unfortunately so we are absolutely stuffed until Walker comes back.

If Manu had stayed, he would have moved into the halves-for sure.

We have had seasons where we have been ravaged by injuries and been rebuilding. 2021 comes to mind. But what seems to be lacking over the past two weeks, that the 2021 squad had in spades, is heart.

He's played with Keary and Walker as well, he's played something like 35 games of first grade now, it can't still be a case of finding his feet after all that time. He's going to get towelled up by Jamie Humphreys next week who has played just 5 games.

It's a Team sport so it's a Team loss - 57% completion rate is not going to win you any game of footy - 75% at half time - so 39% in the second half

All part of the players development even the more experienced one's no matter what team sport you play.

I still back Sandon probably the only one now.

DCE hasn't said if he's playing on or not to my knowledge.

Manly last won a comp in 2011 so all the new found "fans" of DCE need to take a deep breath that he will be some sort of messiah as from 2016 he has delivered what at Manly as the Million Dollar Man - only splitting the club and playing group which they are still recovering from.

750k a season for 2 seasons is good money to re-sign with Manly at his age plus a coaching role post retirement worth a couple of hundred grand a year as well one assumes.

Whose to say a combo of DCE and Sam Walker will work in any case
