Keary was unfairly targeted by fans in recent years

Yep he should have stayed on for another year and then brought in DCE in 2026.

I really hope they are working behind the scenes to get Ponga before 2028.

I feel sorry for Savala. He's a no.6 playing dummy half, lock, centre...everything but no.6

Nope, not at all - it's about patience, perseverance and backing the youngsters, which, obviously, you and others lack - lose, and the usual suspects usually come out in droves beating up on players and coaching staff.

The age of instance access has infiltrated sport where instant success is now the norm no matter what.

All well and fine to watch a game and multiple replays to say x should have done this or that but different when in the moment.

No time for a committee meeting to decide what to do on each tackle.

I don't criticise the efforts of players that are trying, irrespective of what happens or the results though, as it's a team sport - the only time to criticise a player is when they are obviously not trying.

Can you name any Roosters playing that were not trying in tonight's game? I don't mean playing at their best either.

IMO that's on a lot of people. The key moments were:

                      - Not being able to capitalise on a RIDICULOUS number of linebreaks. Titans' defence was extremely poor and we made easy metres on them. We then gifted them the ball back right away (presumably because we're nice blokes and wanted to even things up? NFI...) What team concedes that many linebreaks and still wins? Sigh.

                      - Handing the Titans two tries. Like just gifting them free tries... if we were in my mancave and I was handing out free beers to my mates then fine. Howeverc Allianz is not my mancave and Jayden Campbell is not my mate.

                      - Trying to force our hand EVERY time. It's as if we've been coached by the Daaanld and are all strutting around like alpha males because we're too stupid to realise that we're completely farked for this season and have ourselves to blame.

Tedesco and Tupou need some farking bespoke prize as they were INTENSE!!! Farcically they somehow made such a bad game look winnable because they are SOOOO FRIGGING GOOD that the Titans had no answers. I know they're probably already asleep having done their rehab work and downed a protein shake but they're welcome to visit my mancave ANY time. Like dead set if I'm ever a billionaire who's dying with cancer and has one last wish on his final day... Toops and Teddy can join me in the mancave for some Valtellina red, grappa, limoncello and pizzas. My Italian brother Marco can also join in. Let's gooooo!!!

Yeah it's the cycle you can get stuck in as a youngster ay! You just want a start so you'll say yes to anything. Then if you cock up, put will come the big metal ruler to give you a spanking.

                            How would you know though?

Sam Walker was greatly helped out in his first year of the NRL in 2021 by the Hutchinator, which many here never ever acknowledge.

Walker is a long way from the finished product himself as anyone knows- 77 NRL games - Sandon has played 33 games and the majority from the bench.

...Because DCE and Sam Walker are better than who we have currently? That's proven by their market value, achievements, value to the team etc. I'm not one to say anyone who disagrees is a troll but it has to be a little bit of trolling if you genuinely don't think Walker and DCE are better than Sandon and Townsend.

We have the worst halves in the comp.

When we were close and kicked the ball to the ingoal they either didn’t have enough angle or depth Do Campbell was too good. How about some high kicks for Toups or Young. Something different. Go down the blindside from dummy half close to the line like API did last week. Borrow the Tino play book. Start running hard 5 seconds before the play the ball and hope the defenders are watching the ground and you will score.

Be creative. Don’t give away penalties.
