I was joking. It was a rubbish call from the bunker. He didn't even make contact.

my take on the may thing ....if a guy does not fit your culture , he doesn't fit your culture...if you stand for nothing , you'll fall for anything .

I trust the coaching and management on this one , and I believe we will reap the long term benefits .

let it be noted I'm saying this after s horrendous loss to a shit club. conviction.

Spencer looking to be a panic buy as the weeks go on.

Lindsay is miles off it. Both have been outshone by the young blokes this season.

Both were outshone by this bloke called May last season, wonder what happened to him.

It's probably time to move on from the May departure to be fair.

May is making 200mtr a game, 44 tackles and 6th in the dally m

but trust in robbo - apparently we didn’t need him
Agree 100% why - have to question the recruitment policy trying to turn Brandon Smith into something he isn’t Bellamy was correct and I still think Lenui is far more effective off the bench as Cleary used him - Robinson is seeing things better coaches than him see which is a worry. Letting May go has to be our worst decision almost ever

spencer's a very useful player. the penalty on fifita was stupid and he needs to channel his competitiveness better.
lindsay's also a very useful player. not a classic first carry of the game kind of prop but he does a lot of great things.
whyte's really stepping up but that miss on tino might be the softest try we've conceded ever

Who are you dropping for Foketi?

                        Steep for Foketi
Dockar-clay back to the bench for Watson, Savala drops out of the 17

Think Spencer has been okay, Lindsey is coming back from illness so not going to judge just yet, Whyte has really stepped up his game which is great to see. As for May, it is easy to look at what his doing and get angry that he isn’t doing it for us but it’s all still very early days and his in the honeymoon period over at the tigers.. I have a feeling we got rid of him for very legit reasons and that may or may not come to light as time goes on (no pun intended), he is clearly a talent but so are his brothers… and they been nothing but problems off field.end of the day imo the reason we don’t know why his gone is because easts are professionals.. they couldn’t just come out and say they got rid of him because his a dickhead and is a bad influence on the up and coming crop.. they talked him up and made up another reason.. Same with Brandon.. i absolutely think both him and May are out for the same reason.. they were both toxic to the young boys coming through and we cut out the cancer before it became an issue long term. Short term it looks terrible but let’s check the receipts in a couple years.

I thought Steep too but I’m just not sure at this stage who is better of the two.

mmnnn.. you do not know why Easts got rid of May, but you want us to know he was probably a cancerous, toxic, bad influence, dickhead. Mays axing was likely just a poor decision by management, similar to all the other poor decisions, which are starting to pile up. The "Easts are Professions" quip was funny though.

Spencer would be fine if he was on $250k with no expectations but here's a guy who re-signed with the club in his first year on a bigger deal and hasn't provided the club with any positivity besides a bunch of suspensions and losing his head. Over paid and over rated he offers nothing good to the club.
