Weak defence? You have no clue.

Expected retort considering I responded to your initial comment. Weak retort nonetheless. Nat has not only provided null in attack, he is a plodder of the highest echelon, but he has had key defensive lapses in games that has let the side down in the past 2-3 years. Take off the Butcher love heart goggles and start watching games with your eyes wide open for the sake of future interactions.

What nonsense about Nat - The Angus Crichton /Nat Butcher Backrower combo in no different to the Boyd Cordner/ Mitchell Aubusson one as far as the difference between the combo's as a far as running metres stats goes.

There are different second rowers/backrowers - Edge backrowers and the stock standard backrowers of more of the defence focused variety - Edge backrower's running metres will always exceed the stock standard backrowers one's as they play on the left side which is the main attacking side for teams so obviously they will run the ball more.

Boyd was the edge backrower and Mitchell the stock standard backrower

Comparisons - check running metres comparison of both players through their careers

          Boyd Cordner

          Mitchell Aubusson

Now Angus Crichton and Nat Butcher running metres comparison - Angus the edge backrower playing left side in Attack and D vs Nat - stock standard backrower playing right side in Attack and D

            Angus Crichton

            https://www.roosters.com.au/teams/nr...ngus-crichton/

            Nat Butcher

            https://www.roosters.com.au/teams/nr...s/nat-butcher/

A very hard task master knocking Nat's defence when you see his stats - tackles made / missed and especially his tackle efficiency

Just as I said, totally clueless. Posting at 1am, maybe you're off you're head. But clueless nonetheless.
