I do, but I’m not confident. The rivalry tends to make this game less predictable than form would indicate. We are a punchers chance, so if we get the bounce of the ball we might just get home, as in the Penrith game. I wouldn’t bet on it though. Our record against Bennett coached teams is poor.

Part of me thinks that we're going to cause an upset and win. Blind love I guess.

This game has all the signs of another Sin Bin Sunday the officials have been given a directive to sin bin ANY high contact by Graham ANUSLLY this will be like magic round from 2020 it will descend into a total farce, it will only encourage more diving milking and feigning injury then ever before all to gain an advantage soccer 2.0.
This administration of Vlandys and Abdo has ruined the spectacle of Rugby League with another rule change and the season has barely begun.

In any case if we hold the damn pill and build pressure we will get the chocolates but it’s something we have only done once this season against Penrith.

Not expecting them to post this on their site whether NRL , Senior reps or Junior Reps

The Roosters are yet to list the top 30 squad nor any of the squads for NSW Cup , Jersey Flegg and Sydney Roosters Junior Reps - Central Coast did for their Junior Reps - Harold Matthews and Lisa Fiaola Cup.

                Most other teams do though.

Surely they have folk who can do this ?

They haven’t changed a rule though have they - they have simply come out and said it hasn’t been policed by the officials in the manner it should have been and they have been instructed to police it properly now.

Im not sticking up for the admin here as I agree with you that the rule changes since this admin has been in charge have been off the mark and lead the game down a path that makes officiating far less accountable opening up avenues for conscious and unconscious bias and that pisses me off. Six again is the perfect example and then the sin bin for high shots seems totally arbitrary which some cop the bin and some which don’t. As most of the time it’s not the ones they bin that’s really the problem it’s the ones they decide to let stay on the field - it’s the perfect way to give another team an advantage. They seem to police it with a heavy bias on the player( defender) rather than the tackle.

So true. My love and patience for the game has certainly been tested the past 5 years since all the rule changes and particularly the 6A rule. I will always love the Roosters as I’ve supported the club that’s been a part of my life for close to 50 years now, but the way the game is now officiated where many decisions are left to interpretations and refereeing game management I find so frustrating.
