Unfortunately for Toia this is going to be a difficult game for him defensively regardless of what side of the field he's on. Latrell has that x-factor and can completely rip a game apart but Jack Wighton is also a very good player with over 250 NRL games, Australia appearances, NSW appearances etc.

Why didn't we buy Wighton?
Just asking.
Now they have 2 top shelf centres...and we don't.
They have built up, we have gone down.
This must never be allowed to happen again.
Other clubs just buy top shelf players, make no apologies.

They complete at 10/10 to start games, well have been anyway...and give you nothing.
They don't throw dumb passes or give sway dumb penalties.
They compete all match with their big forwards running hard and scoring tries...and tackling hard in defence all game.
All the things we should be doing but as yet have been unable to, except for the Panthers game.
I’m glad we aren’t playing like premiers.

That being said, I still fear for our boys if we aren’t careful tonight. Must be on from Minute 1.

Problem is we show we are a 60 minute team..the attack has been partially great..except we are scoring them like last year.If we can defend for 80mins then we win..Fark they only have one play..swing the ball to the left..after back to back penalties. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Completions will decide our fate tonight. It cost us the last two games.
I think our defence has been great. Titans scored two tries off intercepts and that one weak Tino try. Our goal line defence has been ok apart from a couple of piss poor efforts from one particular forward. I'm sure Bennett is aware of that.
Our attack has also been great creating plenty of opportunities in general play but just those errors have cost us icing them. Our final play options is where we need to improve. We had nothing last week. Interesting if Hugo gets the call up there and what he will bring.
80% completions I think we win. Anything less will bring them into it.
GO EASTS.
