Team & coach are a disgrace

I’ve seen improvement in our defence this season and a major regression in our attack. Ironically our attack looked a bit clunky at the start of last season and the season before that when we just hung kicks up for our wingers whenever we got down there. Now we have limited halves that’s exactly what we should be doing (playing high percentage and safe) but we don’t! Baffling. Look so aimless coming out of our own end and can’t break teams down and build pressure.

We cannot run with Townsend until Sam gets back. It’s just not possible. I get it’s not right to single out players but it’s plain as day. He is making Sandon Smith worse aswell because the kid is now in two minds trying to play his natural game plus be an organiser.

The positive signs are the young guys like Foketi, Wong, Whyte, Toia to an extent and even Steep showing some quality and indicators that they can be long term first graders for us. Why not give a young half the chance to do the same?

Of course our attack would regress with Walker and Brandon Smith out injured.

You're the only one who I've seen question the boys commitment last night, suggesting that they don't want to play for their coach anymore. You're so deep in the confirmational bias you don't even realise it anymore.

You just don't see the Storm make those fundamental errors in their own half. Very rarely.

Maybe the Storm players have some kind of fear of Bellamy that they do everything to play with discipline. I don't know, but whatever it is, it's bloody frustrating seeing these errors every week.

This coach has a convenient excuse to now dish up more of the same old rubbish.

Played the whole 2nd half against a team with 14 men...both their f##king halves were off the field.

They had others playing out of position...this is a disgrace...

Most of the team showed plenty of ticker last night, defence with stood a lot that shows a good attitude, stats show we made 403 tackles and missed 23 Souffs made 286 missed 40 we had less carries yet made more meters we made more line breaks more offloads you name every stat bar our errors, penalties conceded and a woeful completion rate, it’s the same thing we beat ourselves week in week out, you’re well off the mark about the team disgracing themselves.
We have certain individuals that cannot grasp the basics, and some changes need to be made Dom is struggling a stint in reserve grade is needed just like Robbo did with Mitchell and Manu and look how that worked out.

Chad offers very little Sandon tried his guts out and it’s not working out when he has no supporting act he’s doing the job of 7/6, devoid of leadership and game management we could have won that game 14-8 we did enough we just had to kick the bunnies out of the game but no we tried to score off every play, panic set in and we inevitably shoot ourselves in the foot.

Tedesco is not a captain just once I’d like to see him hold our players accountable grab them by the collar and say keep it simple run up the guts tackle hard run hard kick deep hold the the pill and we win that game and the last three if we just did that.

Give the Captaincy role to Gus/Rads or perhaps left field Conor/Butcher these guy’s never let themselves down or take a backward step (neither does Teddy) but he lacks the on field leadership required to guide a young team around the park.

Robbo’s message whatever it is from the sheds just isn’t replicating on the field this is where a leader shines Cronk/Maloney did this so well Cords lead with a run or big hit Jake/Aubo same thing.

They want more constructive comments.....lets see....last year's piss poor finals series 16 tries were conceded....this year so far smashed by Brisbane & Titans & thrown away games they had every right to win v Warriors & Souffs.

The highlight - a win against a struggling Penrith team who we finally beat after 5yrs in which they have lost a stack of talent
where.we still conceded 34pts.

Throw in May & Sitili killing it elsewhere & the clubs retention plan.

Apart from that everything's good.
