Sally will crawl out of his hole when we're all asleep to defend Dom, Coach Robinson and Chad.

      Guaranteed!

      And Butcher.

He's caught every kick in recent games...has improved greatly.
He didn't drop simple passes at the start of the game when we we trying to complete 100% like Souths and build momentum...that was Gus and Butcher...Butcher's one leading to an eventual try by Souths.

And it's not like Robinson has struggled in developing wingers.

We had great athletes like Blake Ferguson and SKD who both had similar flaws playing to a very high level on the wing, players with far lower ceilings like Ikuvalu and Pauga have even come in and done admirable jobs for us.

For me yardage carries are all about effort and commitment and I think his say a lot about where he's at.

He registered 96 running metres tonight on on NRL stats, must've run for double that sideways.
He's doing exactly what Luai did for the Panthers, run back and forth across the field looking for a space to accelerate thru.

Given that we're going nowhere this season, and the rest of the year is basically a trial for 2026, I'd try him at centre, where he used to play.
Play him at centre and Toia on the wing...and see what happens.

No mention of the head shot from any commentators when he scored in the corner, officials didn't see anything as well. My only gripe is he didn't get hit hard enough so he can miss a game next week.

He does it because the coach allows him to do it. I don't get it also.

Good idea pretty sure Mark was a winger in Union

Yes, he just doesn't understand guarding the sideline and marking his opposite winger properly.

Equally to blame for the loss are Whyte and Crichton...they let the Souths player waltz right past them in the middle and pass to Gray for a try.
They don't understand "Don't fall for their dummies, TACKLE THE MAN WITH THE BALL".
That was Crichton's second crucial error, dropped the ball cold at the start of the game.

Dom had some mad runs (as usual).

Re his defence... in real time I blamed him. In hindsight, I've re-watched the pass and it was impossible for him to defend against the pass because it was 3m forward.

It's so farking clumsy watching it too as Young's in the right spot and the ball lands in front of him so he's like 'WTF?!?!?' The catcher then ran 'forward' to get the ball, put on a sheepish grin and the ref made no attempt to scrutinise the pass.

Sigh! Ignoring the result it was a frustratingly bad call and Young cannot be blamed for it because he was in exactly the right spot to either intercept or tackle. The pass was NEVER on, Latrell had a TERRIBLE game (2 40/20 attempts out on the full, drop-out failed to go 10, forward pass...etc) and Souffs 'win' was an awkward one that deserves no congratulations.

It was scrappy, both teams played like shyte and the ref had a barry crocker.

Some of the best footy was from Teddy, Crichton, Wong and Young. It's a pity that we yet again lacked the finishing touches to square off the result.

Caught every kick? He let two bounce and they got the ball back because he is shit scared of the high ball. He’s shit scared of the high ball because he can’t catch.

What about his air swing when trying to bat the ball into touch. That was comical.
