Surely we will...and have BMoz released from some of his duties to coach him.

Our defence has been super this year.
Two glaringly weak points are Young and lazy Whyte. They seem to let in soft tries every week. No idea if they are being called out and worked on but if they can work out their deficiencies then defence wise we are in a better position we have been in years. Looking good for the future.

Dom needs to go and work on his defence in reggies. We need Whyte for his attack.

Whytes defence is getting a bad rap due to a couple of drops in concentration at our end of the field that led to tries. He obviously needs work on that. But generally his defence is strong and he's hitting harder this year. He dominated the middle exchanges vs Souths. NRL stats have him at a 94.6% tackle efficiency rate, ahead of guys like Spence, Gus and Wong. As I said in another thread, I think he's been our season highlight to date, alongside Mark Ns rapid development.

Don't get me wrong. I love the bloke and would never drop him. His defence outside our red zone is strong but generally that is when there are more than one in the tackle.
But every time we are defending in our red zone i just can't help but expect that lazy miss. He did it 2 or 3 times last year. I think against Manly and Dragons. Nothing changed the last 2 weeks. His lateral movement seems out or he has troubke reading the play. That Tino try looked like he didn't even see Tino coming. He was watching the dummy half. The only part of his game he needs improvement.
