Team vs Broncos

If Marky is back next week and Billy having a great game you'd hope the odd man out is Young. Marky and Teddy are our best attacking options atm and Marky is a much stronger defender than Young, runs the ball out better and a better finisher. The talk of Toia being dropped should be finished after tonight. I thought he handled Trell super.

Unfortunately I can't see Elvis getting dropped and throwing Hugo or Elliot to the wolves against the Broncos or Penrith but FM I hope so.

Rads will come back for Collins.

I can't see any other changes.

Dom Young is a defensive liability but also one of the best finishers in the comp, that's proven with his 68 tries in 78 games, very good stats even for a winger. I think the biggest problem at the Roosters is the halves but there is nothing you can realistically do about them. Maybe Radley at 6 and Watson at 7? I think even that would be better than Sandon and Chad...

Can we use Losalu? He isn’t on a full time contract so I’m not sure of how it works.

I reckon Mark N will do a fine job finishing tries if he replaces Young. He’ll also be better in defence and he won’t run sideways

Yes, Robbo said he's done his MCL. Presumably that's at least ~5-6 weeks?

Yeah that’s a shame for us as we are a prop short already. Lindsay hasn’t been very impressive this year. I admire his heart though - always puts in at 110% however this last 12 months of footy from him for us has been underwhelming. Why he has recently become such an easy target to smash lately is hard to understand as I don’t notice anything different in what he is doing. Runs it hard still but gets hammered. I hope it’s just a bit of a bad run that will pass.

Anyway it gives Losalu another chance and he looked impressive. Hopefully he aims up for us this next month or so whilst Lindsay is out and becomes a regular part of our prop rotation as we need another.

Whilst Toia didn't do much wrong on Friday, I am expecting a straight swap of Marky Mark for Toia.
