So first, I totally acknowledge that Watson has probably been one of our best players this year at 9 and in an ideal world he could stay there until next year when Robson comes but our halves are the most dire halves combination I've ever seen and we urgently need anyone to replace them which is where Connor could come in.
My memory might be hazy so please correct me if I'm wrong but from memory Connor left the Roosters to go and play in the halves at the Knights, he played a season or two, found out he was a gun utility and stuck with that, regardless though he has the season or two of first grade experience in the halves and again, memory might be hazy but I don't remember him being a shockingly bad half like Sandon or Townsend.
Would a spine of Teddy, Watson, Townsend and Zack Dockar-Clay with Sandon Smith at 14 potentially change our fortunes around? I feel like if Watson was our primary playmaker last night we probably win the game.
