Lol, snap. I just wrote about Katoa.

If so I ’d expect the Dollies to keep Katoa but if he does leave I doubt he’d join the Chooks

Dumb comment to not elaborate on why it's a dumb question.

But no, DCE for me. Both great players but “A-Rey” gets injured far too often and we don’t need two small halves. Wouldn’t gel with Sam as much as DCE would either imo.
Get what your saying but 2 small halves in Cronk & Keary went alright in 18 &19

This small halves thing...i dont really buy it that people mention.

cronk was short , but built like a tank .

dce all day, Reynolds to injury prone, best ability is availability.

Reynolds is made of paper mache these days. Also think DCE is the overall better player, so pretty easy choice for me.

Would love to get Katoa though, but I guess that would guarantee we lose most of our young promising halves.

                  Ponga thanks.

Reynolds will go back to Souffs now that Bennett is coaching again.

Cronk is built like a mini brick shite house.

                      Keary is a Wee Man.

Losing a promising half is no big deal if you pick up a gun young half. There is absolutely no guarantees that any of our young halves will make it in the NRL.

Cronk is an exception to the rule in the sense that he’s one of the best halfbacks to ever play the game and also because he was quite muscular and an excellent defender. Bloke was solid, 90kg.

DCE has just turned 36 and Adam Reynolds is about to turn 35, not a 4 year age gap there.

DCE is the answer, Australian national team, QLD Origin team and captaincy, has won a comp, widely considered one of the superstar halves of the game. Even the behind the scenes stuff that clubs look at such as marketing, media etc are all things that DCE has over Reynolds.

Unless a contract is broken there are no great young halves available except Toby Sexton but even then there is a significant difference between him and DCE. If we don't take DCE this season then no real star halves are available to play for us until round 1 2027.

For how long? Salvo says the same thing but we've spent 5 years underperforming, should we spend another 5 trying to find the perfect halves partner for Sam?

The media has reported that he'd like to remain in Sydney as his family is settled on the northern beaches, that he would like to win a comp and have speculated that he'd be looking for a club that could help him in retirement.

All of that screams that he's coming to the Roosters. Northern beaches are a 30 minute drive away, Tedesco, Walker, DCE and Robson is a premiership winning spine and the Roosters are known for helping players post retirement.

If Chad Townsend is Temu does this mean we've upgraded to shopping at Salvo's now?
