      Exactly. He’s getting stifled.

      As I said, he’s the least of our worries but it’s a worry he’s being starved of opportunities.

        Too many off his runs starting flat footed. I’d like to see him running onto the ball more like he did last year and more playing through the line rather than into the line.

        Last year he was getting us quick play the balls, this year he’s often costing us momentum in a set.

        I was hoping last year was a turning corner but there were signs even in the back end of the season after the Fifita drama and new contract that he had dropped off a bit.

          He's timing his run as we edge closer to Origin selection. Angus has still got a few gears left in him and I'm sure we'll see him 'flick the switch' and go into beast mode very soon over the next few rounds.

            Crichton always performs best a few weeks out from Origin then his best games are for NSW and he coasts the rest of the season once his origin duties are done he is the blue version of Nate Myles
