I really hope it’s just precautionary having Mark out of the 17. If Robbo has really though “Billy has had a good game, better leave out Mark N” then I’ve lost all hope.

I tend to agree with the consensus that he’s just being safe as Mark isn’t 100%.

I get the Nat butcher start
we have f all front rowers and Leniu works better off the bench and only carrying 2 props he is staggering having Whyte and Spencer on so at least one are on at a time
otherwise it would have been a bench of Nat, steep and Foketi who are all sub 100kg backrowers
expect big minutes from Whyte and also Leniu
no one else to blame for this then ourselves for letting players go

if Marky N is fit which may not be known to end of week he will walk in for young

also good to see Reece foley and Xavier Vaa playing their first games in nsw cup this weekend

It's almost worth highlighting the recruitment flaw going on here, which was even more evident last season. Too many high flying outside backs!!! Not enough experienced forwards and spine players...

We're blessed with talented juniors. IDK... maybe there's a tactic that involves buying juniors so they can develop and less experienced players who have capped out? IDK! May's a bad fit because he openly puts in at training in order to earn $$$ as a footy player, so he can buy a house for his parents (not for some inner love for the game).

So Young was rumoured to be dropped for Mark alphabet but alphabet is under an injury cloud so Youngs been named but if alphabet is passed fit then he will take Youngs spot....anyone else find that a bit strange in doing things?

Young atm seems half dropped & is hanging in limbo or will play.....if Robbo is unhappy about his form atm then he should be fully dropped & named in reserves from the get go.

Not really- it wouldn't be the first time a player is selected in first grade only to find out that he has played in reggies the day before and replaced in first grade by a player coming back from injury.
