    All good, experimentation.
Butcher starting prop, Savala starting half, and the makeup of the bench are ...interesting.
Basically a trial game, we'll see what happens.

Mark N in for Young. Losalu to start. Butcher to replace Steep on the bench.

Hope the team keep their gloves up for the entire 80 minutes. - and please don't score the first try ha ha.

Pretty much the best we can do right now just need to hope Mark N passes fit and we can fire Young in to the sun

Nice job Roosterboi. Thanks for posting. I’m hoping Mark N and Losalu are late inclusions. And congrats to Hugo, first time starting no 7.

Spencer must be embarrassed that Butcher is starting over him. I still cam’t believe we upgraded his contract for more money.

Appreciate it mightyrooster! I've been looking around this place on and off for ages not posting and saw this as an good opportunity.

For what's it worth for those who care, for as optimistic as I like to be, this season has probably started off as what I expected which was 2016 Part 2. Looking at where the 2016 Roosters were at this point in the season they hadn't won a game scoring only 78 points and conceding 157. Ironically it was this round against Souths where the Roosters would win their first game.

All those players lost in the off-season have hurt the team and I didn't have the highest of expectations for Chad being the only addition to the team and has proven many people's doubts mine included to be correct. As much as I like Dom it's been disappointing to see him. Sideways running and an inability to stay on his opposite winger has been very disappointing to see. The young guys (Toia, Losalu, Wong, Whyte, Foketi and Steep) im happy to see do good and I'm optimistic to see how they fare going forward.

I would love to see Losalu get another crack in the team after his impressive showing against Penrith and hope Nawaqanitawase is fit to take Dom's place as I feel he needs to be dropped for a bit. Anyways hopefully onwards and upwards and for the lads to get a result this Friday!

I don’t think this is the case
Spencer works well off the bench but as we only have 2 actual props in the 17 they have split them so at least one is at all the time and not both off at the same time
Spencer will come on and Whyte will go off at some stage
otherwise we would have 3 sub 100kg backrowers on the bench coming on
it’s our lack of prop options that has forced this
hopefully lasalu comes in for steep

Marky won't score the tries Dom does.

Lack of props ,size and speed ..Broncos should towel us.

Hmmm Butcher at prop....hasn't that been tried before to little effect.

Anyone reckon he can make an impact against Hass & co?

He won't concede the tries Dom does either

Haas vs Butcher…. Is there a bigger mismatch in rugby league like ever?

Kudos to Robbo for making the changes like Chad and (hopefully) Dom at Round 6. Normally he would've fiddled and diddled until at least halfway. I'm expecting a strong response from the lads.
