Anasta sandbagged playing fullback and avoided taking any bombs he intentionally played bad so it would be a one time thing only he's a disgrace to the jersey and the club. A player should always put their best effort in what the coach asks them to do no matter how silly it is particularly a guy who knifed the captain and beloved fan favourite to take the captaincy away from him. Anasta/other fans fan criticise Fittler for naming him in the #1 jersey but Freddy was openly telling the media that he chose Anasta at fullback because he wasn't running the ball enough and wanted him more involved that's on the cap thief for getting to that point.

By the time Mini played 5/8 so many other silly things had happened that people probably tuned out of it by then. Compared to poogate, Fittler's drunken moment, the brothels, Anasta at fullback etc playing Mini at 6 didn't seem so bad and then the betting scandal happened right at the end of it.

Yep..Have we not had enough evidence of the scrambled attack when Teddy has gone in the play maker role? Look at the last three games and see how disjointed we are when he play makes out the back in the opposition third.

I'm not sure I would welcome him back. It's a hard one!

I can't remember the last time he had a great game in our colours plus he bailed on us.

Manu is a strike centre more than a fullback imo. Explosive power athlete who's better suited to playing on an edge.

If he does come back I hope it's not on big money and compromises our superlative retention plans.

Curious to know what the fans think he's worth. I reckon around $500k a year.

100%. Ridiculous suggestion that we move the best fullback and greatest player in the game, out of position.

Lockyer wasn't too bad at 5/8.

              I don't want Manu back.

I think the club liked braith at fullback. His jumper never got dirty

                How about Joey in 12

The annoying part is that people always bring up Darren Lockyer as the example of a fullback successfully moving to 5/8 or halfback completely ignoring the fact that Lockyer played in the halves through the grades as he developed and played as a 5/8 or bench utility for the Broncos in his early years before moving to fullback when O'Neill left he is actually an example of a half successfully moving to fullback (another slight on the cap thief) Teddy is no 5/8 never will be and his best position is fullback.

Lockyer was the last one to really make the shift and be just as good as he was at fullback. I remember Jarryd Hayne being trialled at 6 and he failed, Ponga at 6 and he failed, even Manu at 6 was a pretty big fail as well.

Maybe it was dream, but I keep having these nightmares with Dom Young on the wing and Joey Manu in the Centres missing a lot of tackles.
Joey is better suited to Rugby, the occasional 9/10 game mixed in with a bunch of very average games.

Put it this way what's Chad on ?

On song he's a handful. Problem is last year was more cold than even warm....especially later in the season.

Like I said before the blokes gotta wanna come back with commitment no just cause it's convenient.

I’ll gladly welcome him back Immediately if possible.

how bad are the league reporters though. Chammas reckons warriors can fit him in their cap because they are losing 1 player (their fullback) for next year. We’ve lost over half a dozen top line players but he seems to think we may struggle to fit him in our cap!

Seems to be the most likely.

If he wants to play in the World Cup, he has to go to a nz rugby franchise.
