Daniel Tupou is one of the greatest players to represent the Eastern Suburbs cub and I know he has a contract for 2026 but maybe Cobbo could take his place. Just a thought.

And I'd rather we not spend money on DCE when we have young players like Savala and Rodwell for example.

My MOTM because his long kicks kept us putting pressure on them all game and I hope we see more of him. His closing of the match was Cronk style to the minutest detail. I finally feel our team has taken a major step forward with a long kicker and much relieved as we have always struggled to get out of our own half. Now with Hugo’s long kicks , our chasers can pressure our opponents coming out of their half.

Agree re Tyreece he’s put on a bit of size this year and the one NSW Cup game I saw he defended really well and made good decisions. In attack he is lightening quick. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had more gas that Dom.

I will caution be wary of my judgement on flankers though. I was doing cartwheels when we got Dom, rating him the best winger (potentially) in the comp. I don't know what's happened, either he has regressed here or I didn't watch him closely enough at Newie.

The commentators love Cobbaaaaaw, ay. I reckon because it sounds like 'cobber' so sorta rolls off their tongues.

If you sign him one thing's for sure... you'll hear the commentators randomly yell out 'Cobbaaaaaaw!!!' about a million times every game, even if he's on the sideline nursing a groin injury.
