IMO the fact JT was banned from the shed after the game says everything. By brigading against a player, he's now put himself in a position of compromise where the players don't feel comfortable with his presence.

The reading I get of Leniu is that he doesn't instigate shyte. Rather, he's an alpha who's twice responded to annoying little twerps with short comments that could be translated as 'fark off ya dickhead'.

JT isn't even a Brisbane fan anyway so WTF was he doing cheering for them all game and sledging our boys while in a neutral media role? He's from NQ which is almost like if Freddy / Mini were to sit around cheering for Souffs against Brisbane, and then heckle Mam after the game as if they're massive Souffs fans.

It's an odd and somewhat personal move... IMO JT should be stood down from his media role for 9 weeks.

Was he banned from the sheds or did he refuse to go in? I read he refused. Was he cheering for Brisbane and sledging our players? I didn’t notice that - but all the same it’s not a crime. Yes he should be impartial but getting ex players to do all that work they will obviously all have allegiances and JT is a Qlder.

My read on the situation back in Vegas is that both teams made racial slurs but only the broncos raised it with the ref. Spencer took the stance what happens on the field stays on the field and didn’t use it as his defence. This explains the ‘snitch’ dig at Billy Walters.

It also explains why he is so dirty on the broncos. The NRL knows this and wanted to avoid a situation and it’s why his original suspension included the following broncos game last year. Don’t forget he also missed the first game against the broncos this year due to a dubious suspension.
