Not keen on Burton but even less keen on DCE after watching him the last couple of weeks, hope the Club hasn’t already come to an agreement with him..He looks very average at the moment.

Let’s focus on the guys we already have, many exciting options!

Both Parra and Manly have been doing shite and both have prominent players jumping ship. Let's see what happens to West's this weekend.

100% agree. As a 5/8 Burton makes a great centre.

Burton is not a 6. We also don’t need a centre.

DCE was one of the best on ground last night. He still has it upstairs and is fit.

Narrowly missed a 2 point FG towards the end of the game which would have gone into golden point. Also raced across the FOP to clean up a kick through which would have otherwise resulted in a sure try.

I marvel at his involvement at the ripe age of 36. He aint slowing down and has a lot of uptake and transferable skills for our young halves.

Wow that’s very interesting mate,I thought he was very poor especially in the first half last night..

Agreed that he had some good moments like the try saver, field goal attempt and even the kick for Saab’s try..

But overall it just feels like he is really missing Tommy T and a dominating forward pack,Manly have been getting outmuscled the last couple of weeks which doesn’t make it easier for the halves..

No doubt he has the experience and runs on the board to pass on to our younger halves, let’s see what eventuates...

Nup. Walker & Savala = the business. Lock in 3 consecutive premierships with these boys, Steep, Whyte, Mark N, B-Smizzle and Butch at the helm.

                  It's happening caaarntz

I know some of it is tongue in cheek but I don't understand why people are insisting that Hugo or even worse, Sandon, are the future of our club, Hugo looked great in the game last week but that's just one game whilst Sandon has been very poor.

Burton's contract doesn't expire until the end of the 2027 season but IF he was available why wouldn't we chase him? Premiership winner, Origin player, represented Australia, one of the best kickers in the game, at the age where he's about to entire his prime but nah, we'll stick with Hugo who has had 1 good game and Sandon who has had 4 good games across 3 seasons.

                            His defence was good.

Last season he was only 70% fit...nerve injury.
That has now been fixed and he's 100% fit.

                              Ah yes, feet for hands
with us, but catching everything for the Dogs.
That's because they "draw, pass...draw, pass well before the defence."
Whereas we "draw, then run right up to the defence and throw a dumb pass that gets dropped more often than not."
