I was thinking, with Gus making a push for Galvin, why not consider signing Matt Burton from the Bulldogs? He's a solid five-eighth, and with Xerri and Crichton locked in at centre and Tracey holding down the fullback spot, Burton could fit perfectly at 6 alongside Walker. Plus, if our current young talents pan out, he could potentially be the heir to Teddy when he retires. Just seems like a smart move to strengthen our lineup for the future! What do you all think?

I'm not a fan of him in the halves he's still best at centre to me. I think we should stick with Savala until we see what Rodwell starts developing in to now is a bad time to be in the halves market you won't get any genuine value unless you promote from within and it would be pretty bad to have 3 players in the spine on $1m+ a year.

they had a reserve grade side previously so their only option was up
I still think they are a good 7 and another prop off being up to
although results show maybe similar to Penrith with a bigger back 5 and edge making mtrs and worker style props on the middle

We have seen some nice glimpses of what might be with Savala and Sandon Smith.
I'm happy to see out the process and stick with the plan , it's exciting watching a new team develope with no expectations.
The effort has been 110% , we might not win every game but they are easier to support when they are having a crack then a team full of superstars not having a go.

Dont think dogs are letting anybody go except maybe Sexton to fit Galvin in. Sexton hasn't been resigned and that's no accidentLast edited by HDTONE; 04-18-2025, 09:48 AM.
