They looked tired in that second half, trying to patch together a 17 every week and putting rookies out there was going to catch up with us at some point but that 2nd half from us was flat.

Easy to forget because it's almost become the norm but no Collins, Butcher, Crichton, Brandon Smith, Sammy Walker or Va'a tonight. Penrith at full strength bar To'o.

Hopefully find some energy for next week, easily my favourite game of the year.

So according to the bunker that was “incidental contact” by Edwards on Teddy (without the ball)…if it was reversed Teddy would have gone to the bin in a flash…these pricks wouldn’t have even looked at it twice .

And let's not forget the knock on when the ball initially went forward onto Tedesco's boot after coming off Cleary's forearm.

Was it Toia who then missed tackling the Penrith player in goal which would have forced them to drop out? That then means Whyte wouldn't have been put on report for the high tackle (or was it Wong?)

Even if Penrith were forced into a drop out, Easts would probably have stuffed that up anyway.

The score probably didn't reflect our effort tonight. Shame it got away in the 2nd half. Some bizaare calls went against us which gave them the opportunity to get their groove back, which I feared with this ref.

Obviously we need to work on our edge defences where we got outnumbered easy a few times.

Have got to again mention my man Whyte, a colossus in the middle again. If there's a better prop in the comp this season, I haven't seen him. He had to shoulder a lot with no Lindsay and losing our other starting prop early in the game.

Some questionable calls from the officials I agree mate but we got flogged - I hope the team and coaching staff aren’t focussing on the officials this week. I doubt they are - they will be admitting the performance wasn’t good enough and trying to fix it. Bad luck with Butch medial after being called upon last week for Lindsay (medial) FMD!

Should be a fine it happened in the process of them making a change it wasn't like that game a decade or so ago when there 14 players involved in an attacking play.

I just can’t comprehend how we can do a complete 180 from how we played when we’ve won. No changing directions, no testing the Panthers edges (a big defensive weakness of their this year). Just one out passes through the middle. We looked quite slow and cumbersome for most of the match. In the first half Penrith were garbage. We couldn’t capitalise and the longer the game went on the more Penrith got into a groove and outmuscled us.

No surprises as well that Sutton was against us from the get go. That really didn’t help either.

Waste of time turning up with those kind of ref decisions. Didn’t watch anymore after that Teddy decision. Could see where the ref was going. We were never going to get a fair go.
