How many players have Melbourne let go of in recent years that went on to better things? Max King is doing well at the Bulldogs this year, Tino as well at Gold Coast.
The Panthers have lost 20 or so main players since their dynasty began and the only two who sucked are Paul Momirovski and Spencer Leniu, that's no surprise.
A combined Penrith and Melbourne exiles team would be overwhelmingly dominated by Penrith exits if you went strictly by coming up through the grades/debuting in first grade at the club:
1. Isaiah Iongi
2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
3. Stephen Crichton
4. Matt Burton
5. Sunia Turuva
6. Jarome Luai
7. Isaiyah Katoa
8. Regan Campbell-Gillard
9. Wade Egan
10. James Fisher-Harris
11. J'maine Hopgood
12. Viliame Kikau
13. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (Melbourne)
14. Tyrone May

yes maybe not an $800k prop who we should have upgraded after 3 games but he has shown to be a great bench prop who can turn a game, he didn’t get picked for origin from nothing and was the best forward with Haas on the field in the middle
he needs another good front rower to partner him to come of the bench to help which atm we are very short on due to our own wrongdoing

Consistency is the issue and his biggest challenge imo.
