I thought that too at first, but from side on he got him a microsecond after he received the ball so was ok.
I enjoyed seeing Angus shove the 2 dragons players after Sloan tossed Billy Smith onto hard ground near the fence when the ball was already clearly out of play. They deserved it.
I also enjoyed watching Angus dish out some love.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Why are they just sitting back and allowing the game to become a total farce whilst everyone is talking about it?

If you can get your brain to think that the game is played by humans who most of the time play good but sometimes make mistakes & then think the same of the refs, bunker & administrators then you will appreciate the game more.
Perfection is not going to happen.

I love the game as much as any other supporter, and will always follow it no matter what.
But at this point of time the game is being ruined by certain rules and the officiating..
And to your last point no one is asking for perfection from the officials, sadly it’s nowhere close to that..

People like Valandys, Robbo & Nick take no notice of it like me.

The game is being ruined by these over the top soft reactions by the officials. You can't hit someone hard anymore or even in the chest. The bins this weekend like Sandon and poor old SST last night were typical examples of decisions buggering up the game. Andrew Johns was catatonic over it on the Footy Show today, for once I couldn't argue with him.

So any media identity that criticises the officialdom has prior approval from the NRL. It’s so blatantly obvious.
It furthers revenue and the drama is what the partnership feed off. The public gets suckered. Not me.
As for the officialdom by Smith in the Anzac Day match, it was questionable due to the NRL being on their best behaviour due to it being such a big spectacle.
His prior appointment for Easts and his officiating was abysmal and all kinds of wrong.
The upcoming Tragic round in Brisbane another example of an engineered comp with due consideration to the QLD dollar.
