Such a strange feeling to have us control a game from start to finish, and never be in doubt. Left a few Try's out there, but no problem at all.
There were ample great performances today, but shoutouts to Teddy, Crichton (for his aggression), Egan (playing strongly on return), Toops, Marky Mark, Whyte, Watson (sensational as always) and of course, MOTM Sandon Smith. Foketi also looked super in his litle stint.
It's really pivotal to go on with this next week and pick up a win against the Dolphins. It could really turn our season around heading into the Bye.
Great to see everyone play so strongly as a collective unit, and so physical. You have to say, it seems that Flanagan has missed the mark for this game 2 years in a row - conceding what, 100 points in total?
Enjoy the win, everyone!

3. Sandon smith - well gees the kid can play - let’s hope he builds off that’s performance as he is a great running half, also showed he had a kicking and passing game tonight
2. teddy - 240mtr and 2 tries just does this week after week
1. Watson / Whyte / savala
while Marky M, toops and Angus were all very solid
Marky showed great talent, had a huge first half but little 2nd half involvement
lets hope we can be consistent and build off that’s performance for next weekend

Embrace the occasion with reverence and enjoy the match. Playing with passion can get us a win. Go the Roosters.

Was thinking the same thing. Potentially when we are fully fit you go with:
6. Hugo
7. Walker
9. Conner
14. Sandon
The real question is what happens next year with Robson coming in? Who misses out? Could it be Radley with Watson to 13?

What a way to honour the big day. Dominant win all contributed. Can't give 321 until watch the replay but it looked like at the game the halves really wound it up a notch. Sandons bust out match which he's been threatening all year. Looked like a 9/10 show from him, congrats. And Hugo terrific as well.

Well said and we need to be so proud of men like your grandfather. That may have been the famous battle at Poziere in 1916 that you referred to. Matty Johns talks about it and how revered Australians are in that area to this day. Some friends of his were at a restaurant there a few years back, and when the waiter realised they were Australian, he stood in the middle of the restaurant, said something in French to the entire room that there were Australians present. The whole restaurant stood up and cheered them.
Or the 2 young Aussie backpackers travelling through France in their fried out Kombi, and they stopped at a servo to fill up. The man behind the counter wouldn't take their credit card and was shaking his head. They started hunting for any cash they had, until the customer in the line behind them said "He won't take your money, Australians don't pay here."
