  • Mark Nawaqanitawase AKA Marky Mark.

    He played well today.

I'm confident that he'll improve as he get's more game time on the wing. He's big, strong, fast, mobile, confident and very determined.

Marky definitely deserves another shot next round Imo.

    Thoughts.

Dom would have scored the run away try that Marky Mark missed - but he would not have scored the one he did. and he would have let in 18 tries through bad defensive reads.

Is anyone else surprised at how good he is? I never heard of him before he signed. Weapon as a runner and in the air, extremely skillful, solid defender....great to watch!

I said to my missus that no chance do they catch Young in that situation.

Marky is more of an explosive athlete. Zero to top speed in a blink of an eye!

I'm surprised how BIG he is...first time I've seen him live today. He's a unit.

But yes, he has been a revelation for his level of League experience.

After watching him in rugby in not surprised at all
but shows how little many of us know about rugby players

massive unit 6”4’ and 104kg - loves contact and quite unorthodox
will be better winger then centre but can play both and on both sides

I think Smokey for origin in next 2 years with little wingers after Too and Lomax, maybe turbo - JAC or graham but marky M game would be made for origin

Dom would have knocked on attempting to pick up the ball.

I said the same thing plus young would have caught the opposition winger
as good as young pace is his brain fades are bad and lack of yardage with hit ups

He's just super skilful, even that little chip up to himself off the deck was just class. I think he and Toia could be a really fun combo.

                      Toia's defence today was superb.

Also amazing we had Manu and Suaali on $800k
atm Marky M on $500k and after a handful of games allready looks better then them
and rugby signed Suaali for $1.4m - no wonder the game is going no where in Aus

Always said he is like a Group 1 thoroughbred.
Strength, height, skill and pace. He has it all.
Imagine how good he will be next year.
I just hope he stays and doesn't go back to yawnion after two years.

                            Toia is a fast learner.

The prospect of Sammy and Toia on the right edge is mouth watering.

I kinda thought he'd run down Finau when Saints scored their first try. He never gained an inch on him. But that being said, I liked what I saw tonight.
