  • Magic Round

Should be interesting, with the turf at Suncorp Stadium set to be ripped apart and 3000sq m replaced starting this Sunday in time for the
Womens State of Origin game on Wed and Magic round NRL games starting on Thurs.
...according to the Daily Tele just now.

Hope the new turf is good by the time we play on it.

A win on Friday against the Dolphins leading into the bye, will have our season looking a little better!

$30k for the new lawn meanwhile there are children around the globe who are starving to death.

A Golf course doesn't rip their lawn up when the seasons change.

Time for a new green keeper.

        Been wet, Stadium management says.

How is lawn/turf going to set in a few days?
I remember last time new turf was laid, players were injured.

This is a must. We MUST get the chocolates after that fantastic win yesterday.

This competition is wide open. We just have to find consistency.

These days the turf comes with the underlay(soil) and roots in tact which are around 18cm deep. Each rectangle ways around 200kg. They crane them into place. They don't move once they're installed without machinery. Top dress the seams and it's pretty much ready in a week. Sometimes they'll bring growing lights in at night if need be.

How curious that for the 6th time in a row, the Broncos have an “away” game in Magic Round. Unbelievable.

                  Thanks for that.
Hopefully it will work out ok.

Ask your friend Sally to google and upload an explanation and example of dark humour.

Actually you wouldn't have any friends so just scrap that idea.

Dolphins are a good side and it’ll be a great test for us. I think this is the week where the previous result will genuinely be built on. I think we’ll beat them in a close one.

If we get the chocolates and head into the Bye, we’ll just about be in the 8. Very open competition at the moment.

The Dolphins are coming good. Big bodies across the park, all young, fast and can take the hits. Remind me of Penrith before they started winning all their premierships.

                        They'll be tough.

Once again the teams who have Suncorp as a home ground are the 'away' team. I think this will be our 6/7 'home game' at Suncorp magic round. Absolute joke !!
