Come up with something better than that, thats along the same line you spun me.

Just because Rooster oracle or myself admires Bellamy's coaching ability makes us no less of a Rooster supporter than you.
What are you going to do if Bellamy does end up as the coach of the Roosters? Follow another team?

Exactly Mickey, Jackie just doesn't get it. He has nothing and his last post is not even worthy of a reply!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

      Here's looking at you, kid.

Good question - it would severely test my loyalty to the club...I really dont know.

I dont think its a question that will ever have to be answered though.

Don't expect us to nab a bunch of QLD feeder clubs either.

Expect us to perform much like NSW did under Bellamy.
Bellamy will develop our players into stars like at Storm.

You can just keep bumping certain threads and they will forever remain relevant!

It reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons when Bart wins an elephant at a radio station. At the radio station they have a really old machine that at the push of a button it will say a one liner. One of the hosts pushes a button and it says, "Wow those clowns in congress are at it again, what a bunch of clowns!" He then says "Wow, how does it manage to keep up with the news like that?"

Good analogy. It's like saying the ALP is incapable of governing.

Abbott and Gillard are both d!ckheads and it doesn't look like we'll get rid of them any time soon unfortunately.

S*x that the Chooks are in a similar stick that we're not gonna get out of any time soon. Things do change though! A good leader will come along again one day

I want to address these things. Who to blame comes from the top as it filters down. Politis should never have hired Smiffy and SSS (Super Smart Son) in the first place, as it is Smiffy and SSS that is the problem!!

It is VITAL that we get rid of Smiffy and SSS, along with Elliot asap to stop the rot!!
We are developing a losing culture under Smiffy's regime. Losing is a habit, and we have now perfected it to a fine art. Our players are not coming along, their development is being stifled. Put simply I and I'm sure that there are thousand of others are sick to death of us being flogged!! How is that good enough?? F**k the have patience we are a young side excuse, that is just a load of BS!! Certain people involved with our club and on here need to stop sugar coating the shit results! No matter how much sugar you pour on top of the shit it will still not change the fact that it is still shit!

The win last week against the Tigers was just an aberration, the Tigers were not in their right frame of mind after being told of the death of Farah's mother something like 1 hour before kick off.

I saw Smiffy get interviewed on the Sunday footy show and he said that we had the very best preparation that we have ever had during the week leading up to playing Manly. WTF??????? The guy has completely lost the plot!!!! Obviously he has no idea of what is going on with the players!!

There are many reports now of how Smiffy has lost the dressing room. All the evidence goes to show that he has in fact lost the dressing room, just look at our results and where we are positioned. Our results are pure rubbish, it is NOT good enough and Smiffy has to be held accountable and shown the door. Alarm bells have to be ringing when a guy like Perrett can't wait to jump ship, along with Mitchell and I am hearing Takairangi wants to go to Manly and Tom Symonds to the Storm. Symonds is no loss but Taka is. Imo we do have the players to at the very least make the top 8 this year and if we had a decent coach we most certainly would make the 8. We can not just keep Smiffy next year and expect SBW and Maloney to do everything to turn us around. We can become a premiership threat again with our current roster with just the addition of 3 or 4 more good players (SBW and Maloney are 2 so we need just 1 or 2 more), but the key is getting a new bloody good coaching set up!!

We need to get rid of Smiffy ASAP to try and salvage something from the wreckage of this year to try and start building something for next year. We are not going to make the finals and we sure as hell can NOT get any worse!!

                  The solution;

We have to do whatever it takes to get Craig Bellamy to coach us, throw the cheque book at him!! I just shake my head at some of the names that get bandied around on here as possible coaches for us. We don't want to be going from the frying pan into the fire. Bellamy needs to be plan A, B, C, and D. Bellamy and Hasler are the stand out top 2 coaches in the NRL, and naturally their respective sides sit in first and second place. The beauty of Bellamy is that he is totally capable of taking full control of the team, therefore Nick does not have to worry about a thing and can stay right out of the way. Have Taylor take over for the rest of this season. If we can't get Bellamy for 2013 but we can get him for 2014 then have Taylor coach us for the rest of this year and next year.

IF Bellamy refuses to come to us after doing everything we possibly can to try and get him then Sticky, Trent Robinson or Taylor would be the way to go for 2013, and in the case of Taylor he can take over straight away and Stuart can straight after origin. When it comes to Sticky I still have nightmares about 2006, but I believe he is a better coach these days. When it comes to these 3 candidates I think they are going to need plenty of very good support to help them, having a coaching set up like we did in 2002-2004 does strongly appeal to me!
                  WEaste of rant....Bellamy aint coming.

But look what replaced him. I have a fear that's what will happen to the Roosters.
