Best wishes for the future Sammy and your contribution to this club has been big.

This is definitely a case where the adage that you are only as good as your last game, does not apply.

I wish him well but at the end of the day Sammy moving mid year is going to make absolutely no difference to our season. The kids like Evans and RTS should be used for the rest of the year.

Agreed! In a properly coached side Perrett will perform far better. Hasler will get the best out of him unlike Smiffy!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

Smith doesn't think Perrett is much chop so is happy to release him mid-season.

Hasler thinks Perrett is a good player and chased him hard, securing an immediate release so that he can walk straight into their 1st grade squad.

Who is replacing these guys? Someone is quite likely to put 100 on us by the end of the year

in a properly coached side with structure and set moves, you can guarantee that he'll flourish. After all, a winger is only as good as the ball he gets (with us he gets none)

How is this year any better than the last year of Freddie's coaching tenure

For those of you who say he would have shined under a "proper coach" - well he has seen FOUR coaches come and go here at the Roosters and hasnt done much with each of them.

Came like a champ, played like champ, went out like a prag bitch.

                        Bye Sam.

Hasnt had a 5/8 since freddy to get him the ball either.

                          on those coaches

Smith- sees positives in 50point beatings???

Freddy- only coach in world sport that i can think of that played knock and run in his underwear in a hotel during his tenure.

Anderson- genius behind the one marker call.

If we never had fittler we would not have seen a grand final appearence since 1980. and was it coincidence that when we aquired another freaky 5/8 that we made another GF. coaches only do so much without a star player.

You can say exactly the same about Anasta. I'll stick with the many Roosters fans who watch each player closer than opposition supporters.

He is not worth the reported $300K he was after and if it wasn't for Lloyd, he wouldn't have even crossed Hasler's mind.

Good luck Sammy but there are better options coming through.

Wouldn't of been happy if we signed him for another 3 years which is what the Dogs did. Good luck for the rest of your career Sam. Will be strange playing against him in round 26.

Bingo! Just watch Perrett reinvent himself while under Hasler. Smiffy and SSS will not bring out the best in our players!
