  • If SBW ends in disaster, then Politis must go

Spending most of our cap on just one player is one hell of a play.

If it ends in disaster, Politis has gotta go.

Surely everyone has to agree on that.

    Here's hoping it works.

But if it doesn't, then that's that.

If Politis and co were running the club properly then we would not need him or the rest of the board that much.

As a club not generating money we need people like him.As for the board this signing of SBW and Malony I see as a great coup for the Roosters lets all show some trust in them.

Totally agree Bansai - but I reckon you'd have to carry the bloke out in a coffin he's so determined to keep control of what he sees as his personal fifedom.

And it's not as if anyone else in the club is going to force him out unfortunately.

Their job is to generate money for the club. They have been around long enough to be more successful at it.

I agree but don't see how we'd get him out Pipe?

It's a closed shop mate, no one whose not already there cannot even get on it, and those that are will never raise a motion to oust him as it's a Nick invite only club from what I've been told.

                Chook.

Well this talk about Politis is getting very old BUT with that said, why not someone like Bouris or Gyngell to head the board? Successful and younger and may fire people who need to get fired.

Absolutely not! If Nick ever goes it must be opened up to club members to vote who is our next chairman and board members - annually or for a 2 year term at least. Why trade one fiefdom for another?

                    Chook.

Politis can go now as far as I'm concerned!
I'm sick of the lack of success under his dictatorship!

and if SBW ends in triumph, will the nay-sayers shut their big mouths and never criticise Uncle Nick or his decisions ever again?

am sick of the romanticism of politis by club fans and the media. he and the cohorts run this dysfunctional club for their own benefit and it's decision making is far from impressive over the past five years as to politis success rate in his long tenure of chairman
