The same can be said for either party. There's going to be a lot of 'told ya so's next in one form or another.

        Too true.
The banter from both sides is in full swing......as if we really make a difference to what the board will do. They don't give a shit.

By the time we know whether it is a good thing or not I will have forgotten what I preferred.
        Age does that to you.

True but personally i know I'm not going to come here and say 'I told you so' blah blah blah. i know everyone has a different opinion so i respect that, if they give it in a respectful manner. 'I told you so' or calling other 'haters' for not agreeing with me is not my thang.

The Easts Group don't have too many problems making money.

It's the football side of things that is the problem.

                No one's questing his dedication.

                They're questioning his wisdom.

I don't know about you, but I don't know how many more throwaway seasons I can take.

                  Chook.

The club is now BIG buisness and you would say no to someone like Bouris and prefer a vote by yobbo grandstand ref's, Parramatta style LOL....Please

best thing about this club imo is the collective "real" buisness ppl on the board as opposed to ex players and their mates running the joint.

Look at the original poster of this thread, he posts that we have/will spend most of our cap on SBW and if it fails Politis needs to go and we all jump on board and agree...... all these ppl on here have made up their mind based on what a rumour and opinion and you want them to vote LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

                  1. How do we know most of our cap will go on SBW, almost all our players are locked in long term, suggest to me this is not the case..
                  2. How do we not know that perhaps there is a big sponsorship deal involved + Japanese Rugby + a fight? which could mean we get him at a reasonable price .....

The facts are we dont know!

I think it's pretty safe to assume he's going to get paid big time.

Look at the players we've shed to accommodate him.

I hope these hard decisions being made by Nick (and the board ) will lead to many wins in 2013.As to the throwaway seasons I think we are all sick of them.Lets give them a chance to right a few wrongs (get rid of Smith ).When things are bad it is a time to stick solid not to jump all over the board .

Businesses have shareholders and stockholders, I'm sure Bouris is aware of that concept and understands why it's better than a fiefdom.

                          Why can't a football club?

                          Chook.

While its being rumored that the SBW camp is making ridiculous claims in their deal, surely this deal is a sign of the clubs desperation to the rest of the NRL. On the other topic, plain and simple, if Nick goes the Rooster will be dead ducks, Nick puts in Millions of dollars per year into this club and he does at a huge cost both financially and socially, he would rather be holidaying in Greece and Europe during their summer months than hanging around cold Sydney dealing with football issues.

Unfortunately Pipe, we know we'll take as many come along.

At least for me, my footy teams like my family - I don't get to choose em.
