When SBW went to the Crusaders in Christchurch, alot of supporters had there doubts too. They made him play club rugby which normally has 200 or so watching if they are lucky, in his first club game there were 3,000 people there to watch him. He gave 100% to the Crusaders and I heard the only reson he moved was because the earthquakes really unsettled him (do you blame him).
While he was in Christchurch, he did alot of charity work and was a good role model (even though I hate this word) for kids. The bonus is, he doesn't drink. The one thing that concerns me is what hangs around him - Mundine.Pauline Robinson from the "Wall".

Its about the destabilisation that could come with his meer connection to us. It will be a circus and we will struggle to get value for money when the show only goes for 5 minutes. Pls dont argue that he was young when he did what he did. He was old enough to play at FG level and paid the big bucks with managers and the like to aid his every move, then he was old enough to be held accountable for his actions and peoples opinions of those actions. As for farking up like that, no I have not and im sure many here havnt either.

And the argument about him being young, well mate, YES!!!!it does happen. I'm sure it didn't happen to you cause you weren't thrown millions of $$$ in your face at such a young age and perhaps you may have had some proper education, unlike most sportsmen. As for the circus you talk about...Not sure about that but Perhaps you think that it will be a media circus which might destabilise the team...? Well looking at what's going on at the moment, there is actually no circus and the team is CRAP!!!! Perhaps you're content with what's happening but I'm sure the masses want significant changes rather than this 'rebuilding' phase were going through. By now, Smith should have removed all obstacles and we're still languishing at the bottom. I honestly not sure what your answer to success is.
As for the 'ideal' worls as you put it... he had one. He dcided to mark himself for life with what he did. Mate I would hate to be in the trenches with you. The guys gives the finger to our game and your one of his favourite sons??? As I said... he had a manager, friends, family plus a lot of other assistance as all professional athletes do. Age was not an excuse. For you to think there isnt already a circus, then replying to you is a waste of time as you are so blind you probably cant see what I am typing anyway.

Your right mate, why argue with an ignoramus like you. Go back to your high horse.

Do you muppets really think he would walk out of a 1 year contract??????
On top of that our muppet board is planning to pay him 800k and next year we may become a competitive team unlike the Bullthugs in 08. I would'nt say he would walk out but I salray. That is the problem he is overpayed but I wouldnt mind him on a 1 year contract because if he stuffs up were not stuck paying him $$$$$$ for a long time like Bwaiff. I also think it wouldnt be a circus hes been trained by the All Blacks hes at a very elite level. Think of all the sponsorship and crowds coming in too.
