I think you may be right. Newtown's playing on Saturday and naming him and not playing will fuel speculation about his promotion.

I hope that is the case and we see RTS on Monday to add some speed and spark to that backline

and braith isnt a reserve grader.

you missed the point im trying to make. lets give the younger guys a go now and lose trying instead of persisting with what doesnt work.

you call them reserve graders, fair enough but so to was slater, fitler, mal, fitzy. how the hell do they get to prove what they have if they dont get a shot at the firsts.

Would be over the moon if RTS plays. Stick him on the right wing, Leilua back to left centre, Moga back to left wing, Aubusson to backrow, Cordner to bench, and drop one of Arona or Mortimer. That would be a MUCH better team, to be honest. And at least Sheck would get a decent run heading into the backend of the season now that Perrett is gone, if we persist with him of course.

If we can get anything out of this season, it will be getting the most out of relatively inconsistent fringe players over the past few seasons who are now solidifying their first grade spots (Guerra, Masoe, and Leilua from 2010, and Tasi, Arona and Cordner from 2011), as well as giving enough opportunity to the emerging talent coming through this year (Moga, RTS, Evans). With Moga and RTS looking like amazing prospects, it might be difficult for Henry and Tagive to usurp them from the wing spots they are likely to fulfill.

With Anasta and Perrett now gone, and Minichiello pretty much into his last season as of next year, the two main underachievers in our line-up are Nuuausala and Aubusson. Kennedy and Masoe have struggled a bit admittedly, but they are still very young and have had severe injury-plagued seasons. Aubusson and Nuuausala have been around since 2007, and at this stage should really be the leadership figures to the youngsters. They should be under lots of pressure to retain their spots next year.

            Taka instead of Arona.
He'll leave us and become a star somewhere else.

BJ on the wing is ridiculous!

That puts him slightly closer to Henson park than playing closer to the centre of the field.

I just don't care any more. If the players hate smith, they won't play for him (or themselves it seems) and the Roosters will lose by plenty. If the players don't hate smith then I've just accepted that the stagnation and regression in the team's performances will see the Roosters lose by plenty. Either way, I just don't care any more.

I figured someone would say that.

I should clarify by saying that I don't care what team smith names but I do care about the Roosters.
Am finding the way they've been going this year hard to take and all the innuendo about player dissatisfaction and idiot coaching isn't helping.

I struggle to watch the Roosters when they're going well, I'm busy for the next two Monday's so it won't be a struggle not to watch.

The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                              Here's looking at you, kid.
