1. The Roosters suffer from defensive lapses.
For all their effort and commitment, Brian Smith's men can't expect to be a consistent football team if they continue to clock off defensively. After trailing 24-0, the Roosters got themselves back into the match with three consecutive tries - but a poor read from a Manly scrum gifted the Sea Eagles the easiest of tries to seal the victory.
shows how much focus smiths putting out in defence hopefully theres an improvment on manday against the sharks
2. It's time to bring Daniel Mortimer into the halves.
This is more a compliment than a criticism of five-eighth Braith Anasta, but it is high time he moved back into the No. 13 jersey. The Roosters forwards lack some leadership, while they could do with the extra creative player in the halves. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and the Roosters can't afford to lose too many more games if they hope to play finals football.
Gives more focus on Anastasia to get dumped hopefully if he doesnt perform now he gets dropped
3. Tautau Moga is starting to live up to expectation.
No other player in the NRL came into this season with greater expectation than the 18-year-old Roosters back. He missed the early parts of the year with a leg injury and while he's been solid since making his debut, he hasn't been able to have the impact he did yesterday. Moga scored a try and made a line-break from deep within his own half, showing glimpses of the player Smith was raving about in the pre-season.
With Moga and RTS coming up through the ranks future looks bright but its the present we should be worrying about especially making the 8 and it all starts on monday!!!!!
