Why would he sign with any club this far out and before he knows what the new TV deal and Salary cap look like?

there are millions of rumours doing the rounds about the Roosters at the moment, another one I heard last week was Pearce/SBW/Mini gone at end of 2013 with Bellamy/Thurston coming in for 2014, wouldn't believe anything that far out because they can't officially sign anything yet and until it is registered with the NRL they can walk away.
