Nick needs to hand over the reins.

Packer would be the perfect fit.

        Because he doesn't tolerate fools.
Just what this club needs. A BIG broom all the way to the top.

Sure... I can just see it how the coach will be choosing the side every week.

What makes you think J.Packer has the passion for the side? As far as I can tell the bloke's only passion is for making easy money out of casinos, something that he won't do, make money that is, if he invests in Easts! At least KP built things!!

I tend to agree with this I dont think he has passion for the club Nor does he seem to be that interested in sports as a whole like his Father was

Kerry's not really with it, these days, Ray.

If Kerry was here. He used to show some passion but James couldn't give two hoots.

I agree he doesn't have his old man's business sense & commitment. What he does have is a no nonsense attitude toward fools.
This club needs pruning from the top down.
He could be the one to do it.

Maybe gyngel (spelling ) would be a better fit he has passion

Gyngell may have the passion but I have my doubts he is hard nosed enough in regards to the Roosters to put the broom through the place. And that's what it needs. And I also feel he'd be a little too lax with the playing group, which is already an issue.

I mean this is the bloke who still has Fatso Vaughtin in his employ!

Sadly James Packer takes after his uncle Clyde more than father Kerry.

I was originally joking about John ibrahim but now I'm coming around to the idea of a successful businessman (who has connections to the Eastern Suburbs) should be considered.
