Didn't you watch the game? I don't watch many Warriors games, but living in Brissy, it was the first game. He was woeful in general play kicks, and place kicks. Gee I hope he has something, because all this talk about not wanting SBW, yet this bloke is another average first grader being built up as our saviour.

He's light years ahead of Braith.

True but your scrapping the barrel with comparing him with Anasta however I do believe Anasta will have a good year at the Tigers. Maloney also may need to get out of that long white cloud to spark his game.

          He's Braith's replacement.

The warriors were happy to let go of Maloney, they see him as a good second playmaker not worth the money to keep. He has a reasonable kicking game, solid goal kicker, can run good lines and a good support player but his defence is the worst in NRL and he couldnt organize a f$&k in a brothel, I say we will be no better off next year.

Rubbish. They made him a big offer to stay, but Maloney wanted to return to Sydney with his second child to be near family...

You literally have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

Everyone who matters says that Maloney is a great buy for us. He may even be able to circumvent the godawful coach and halfback we have.

He's no Brad Fittler but he's yards better than what we have.

Well there was at least one mid field bomb that he did that was very Braithesque!! His goal kicking also was slightly worse than Braiths.

But at least the kit last will have something to do, after the game, with the no.6 jumper

Maloney took a few hitups coming out of their own end. Plays tough.

Sure does. He also runs some courageous lines that puts pressure on defences, unlike Pearce and Anasta.

Yep. We need a leader in the team. Maloney fits the bill. I wouldn't be surprised if he's made captain.

Says the one who scoffs at SBW, yet thinks Oldfield and Maloney are a good fix. Don't tell me that you also agree that Walace is better than Pearce? Maloney does play tough, but Johnson is what holds that halves combo together. Maloney is the same type of player a Pearce. The more I watch the more it looks like we picked up another average first grader. He needs to go to half if Pearce moves on and we need a dominant playmaker. Pearce and Maloney in the same team is a real worry.
