Would've probably put Thurston as number 1, but otherwise a fair list

**The one club to miss out on a single entry in the list is the Sydney Roosters.

I stopped reading at 40 when I saw the likes of Uate, Merritt, Sika Manu and Campese above Nate Myles.
    Hahaha, please..

There are always going to be contentious selections as the list goes down, but i was more interested in this:

Obviously not an official list but when not one player from our club makes a best of 50 list....

Can you think of any of our players that deserve to be there? I can't..

I counted 29 players that played in this years origin series in that list ... pearce , buhera and grant are the only ones i can think of that didnt make that 50 ... not sure the others

PS .. not sure how a list like that is made .. you have gidley who has been injured for most the year in the list ..so his picked on reputation as well as campese same circumstances as gidley ... yet they pick reynolds whos pretty much in his debut season

Who actually decided/voted on this? "As compiled by Bigpond sport" tells us sweet FA.

Thurston should be number one by a fair margin.

Pearce and Leilua should be there.

Campese is there although he's only played 4 games this season and 7 last year. Oh and experts rated Pearce 46

Pearce is a top 30 player regardless of what some clowns on here and in the news ltd media think.

A few years ago JWH was rated as a top 20 player when he'd done absolutely nothing which goes to show how much value the things have (none).

So based upon this list Adam Reynolds should be NSW halfback as the top rated eligible player in that position?

Right on, good luck against #5 and #6.

Too many laughs in that list to take it seriously.
