And please tell me which player TODAY, will not leave a club for more money? Sure there are some like Mini, perhaps JT, maybe Lyons but I would guess that 60 to 70% of todays players would easily leave a club, or a sport for more money. Let's not be in a fantasy about player loyalty crap. They are all (most) out there to make a buck. Like you and me. I's say that the experience we'll get from that year will only make our club stronger. I know that you find it hard to understand but SBW ****ed up at that age and like STSAE said, he wants to make a mends for what he did otherwise he'd stay in rugby with bigger bucks. At the end of the day, we have nothing to lose considering the year were having. That is my thoughts!

Leaving a club for more money is to be admired. If another club thinks your worth more and wants to pay for it, then good on ya. Abandoning ship mid season to chase dollars is simply a cvnt act and if you think there is nothing wrong with that, then you need your head read. And no my son, I am not out to make a quick buck at the expense of those I am committed to. I would hate to be a colleague or team mate of yours! If I commit, I follow through.

BTW, dont speak for backwards because you get his words wrong. He NEVER said SBWalkout wants to make amends for his past mistakes. Backwards said that he wants to challenge himself in the NRL. Again... HIMSELF. Nothing to do with making amends for anything.

How is a one year thing benificial at all to this already struggling club?

BTW, to add to your other post above, we have had success in the past 11 years. Since 2002 we have made 3 GFs and apart from 2-3 very poor years (this one included) I still believe we have been successful. Its not just about the title. Thats the cream but if you think that you can only gauge success by a premiership, then no matter what club you follow, you are going to be very dissapointed on a regular basis as no club wins everthing. (well except the penalty count if you are the Storm!!!)

another knee jerk reaction by its management dressing room jock - 1 year deal big deal! $bw likely to be injured early on in the season (he will also be targeted by nrl mugs) , history shows most big signings by the roosters that that either get they injured early or not perform.
prefer a character type like a bunny reilly, fitzy, ricketson any day.more longevity.where is the longevity in a 1 year deal.
