I only come here because I am a Roosters fan but most of the stuff posted on this forum is embarrassing such as this guys player ratings. I yearn for a place where we can have insightful and passionate discussion about the Roosters but instead, Lemon_Goat and his cronies serve up drivel like this. Not only are his ratings way off, his analysis of the players are confusing at best, nonsensical at worst.

Seriously if you find this thread "embarrassing" maybe you'd be better of staying away from here, although there are times on here where i do agree with your sentiment.

Why the hatred for candaman? He hasn't abused anyone on the forum. He has a right to start a thread and and do a players' ratings.

Go for it Candaman. I've been on the wall as long as anyone else here and I for one welcome your contribution. You are not trolling or abusive, and that is good enough for me.

Plus, as much as I enjoy Brain's ratings, your spelling, punctuation and grammar are far superior!

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, your opinion on some of our players performances tonight is rubbish.
1. Minichiello - was awful, and this has unfortunately been the norm since his contract renewal.
3. Aubusson - one of his better games? Jesus f*cking christ that just shows how crap he has been this season. He made 32 metres, thirty-two metres! He made 2 costly errors which were crucial and he also missed a tackle on Pomeroy which lead directly to a try.
5. Moga - seriously? I don't see how he was our worst player. He made 100+ metres and all of this was work out of dummy half as he gets no service He did make a bad error but don't they all? In my opinion that was Minichiello's ball, and as the Captain and experienced player he should have called for it.
9. Friend - Hahah, one short side play pays off (mainly because of SKD's evasiveness) and they are "starting to work" ? Come on..I am one of his bigger fans but for god sake he is so slow out of dummy-half it's ridiculous, he shows almost no creativity as well. Mortimer, Mitchell and now Seluini have all showed him up as better hookers in their time there (alright Seliuini had one game) and surely it is not just me who realises how much better we have looked with Mitchell there and now Seluini. Credit to him for making 50 odd tackles though, but there are plenty of hookers who make large amounts of tackles and still show some pace and creativity. He is definitely not in the top half of hookers in the comp.

In saying that though, doesn't this all come back to the coach? We had James Aubuson there who coul defend better and was creative but Smith didn't like him so off he went, Carney went because of Smith. Our half back has not improved or developed in his time at the club. Our disciPline has been getting worse I mean a coach is supposed to make good decisions in player retention and make things better. Get rid of him. He ruined the knights system, set them back 5-8 yrs and he is doing it here. James Maloney isn't going to be our saviour, he is a solid first grader and sbw will do what? Show up for 1 year, realise smith is clueless and not even consider the loss ability of sticking around for maybe another year. Let's chase Lewis, born leader, get a new coach and mix some of the youth was some decent footballers and we can at least be competitive next year but just get smith out of the club
