Cronk is no legend is he ? just a handy half that follows instructions he can t offer any more - he also did nothing in the 3 games except made one good run and kicked the field goal that won the series just Like Fincharelli he is now part of SOO folklore

13, the stats never tell the full story but that doesn't mean they lie. Pearce may not be as good as everyone hoped he'd be but he's definitely not as bad as the Chookpen would have us believe.

This week he will be up against a young half that plays with composure well beyond his age and experience.

With a new coach and decent five eighth this may change for Pearce.

What these stats don't show is where our forwards place in run metres, in fact runs total. Nor penalties conceded by us. Nor that week in week out he goes around with kids and has beens instead of reps and internationals. Nor that he is in an inexperienced team that all round plays dumb football.
