They don't talk to answering machines....nor does 'India'.

Roosters marketing should not be giving anyone the personal details of Roosters members.

Maybe they did it, if they did, because we need the money.
    Who knows.

Just say "no thank you" and hang up the phone.

I've told them no a few times. They keep ringing though.

I'm not rude to the person calling as I've been that person in a past job so know its not their fault that I've been called multiple times about the same promotion (that blame lies with whoever isn't taking my name off their call list when I decline).

Just shits me right up the wall that our club is selling our details for what is the cost of a minor sponsorship package. If I were getting cold called from someone with their logo on the jersey I'd be alright with it as I know they've paid big money for the privilege, but this is just nonsense

      That ****ed them.
Should have asked them for a quote for the Pings.
I should have asked him if he could slot in at fullback.

Couldn't be any worse than the **** we've got.

If they keep harassing you, then report them to the insurance industry ombudsman. better still get your angry missus to do it.

General Admission at games is a shit load better than paying a membership to sit and watch teh clubs managerial decisions destroy another season.
i went from sponsor to just a member and as off next season i will be like you - GA on game day

got the calls too - so pissed off that Roosters are forwarding my details onto third parties

Just another cock up from our marketing department to add to their great repertoire thus far for the year

Looking forward to the next instalment

Nah, I'm happy to be a member and support my team.
If I can't afford to be a member in the future, or decide to go 'general admission' at home games, then that's what I'll do.
              I'll decide.

Maybe we do need the money.
Maybe the company paid a lot over and above the usual sponsorship amount for the member's details.
Maybe some underling just gave them the membership database.
              I have no idea.
Maybe the CEO or whoever thought it was a good idea...which it's not.
Unhappy members should phone or write to the Sydney Roosters and complain...that's the only way things will change.
The 'shameless crawler' has a mind of his own.

has anyone got a quote from them??

more than likely life insurance premiums would be 10 fold compared to your current insurer just because we follow the roosters - high risk of heart attack

Apparently as a "welcoming offer" they are giving special deals to all roosters members and I should have received an email about it (I didn't). I've told them I'm not interested, but that hasn't stopped them calling every day, usually 3-4 times.

Looks like the club is now selling its member base's information to telemarketers for a few bucks. I have written an email to the club asking about this because if it is so, I will be cancelling my membership unless they can promise me my details will not be sold to another company ever again.

Is anyone else experiencing this same problem or is it just me?
I got a call the otehjr day I asked them to email me all the details and if I was interested in it I would contact them That was a week ago so far I have heard nothing back

I got a phone call from Clearwater, who apparently have recently become a Sydney Roosters sponsor, I told the person I don't like to get phone calls like this & I hung up, haven't received any more phone calls. I'm still happy to be a member, my kids really enjoyed the coaching clinic the other day & I think it's important for fans to become members, it doesn't cost much, our membership cost is easily covered by the free tickets & free member events we attend.

                        GO EASTS!!

Cheers for posting the number - I recognise it as the one I've had missed calls on my mobile for the last week or so. I was wondering who the Melbourne person was that was ringing as they never leave a message. Now I know and won't be in a hurry to answer.
