No one in our team will ever come close to Sonny Bill.
Imagine all the publicity, tv slots we'll get and all the bums on the seats.
Btw he came here to honor a handshake. He could've dishonoured it as it ain't a contract so Politis can't take legal action for a handshake. he was an All Black but chose his credibility over his own wishes he's matured from what he was before and doesn't have attitude problems. I can't wait for Sonny Bill the positives outweigh the negatives.

Remember Sonny Bills 1 out of the box. We've made replacements for Joey in JT, Benji in Freddy, Gallen for Tallis, Smith for Bedsy and now Hurrell for Gaz. Well find a replacement for Locky soon but name one person who's replaced the talent of Sonny Bill the criteria is amazing offloads, can play centre, lock and second row, massive shoulder charges and good footwork. SKD? Jennings? Morris? Trex? Lawrence? No one. He's an entertainer and match winner. he pinched a match from us in the last minute in 04.

I welcome back Sonny Bill in open arms.
    Great post goat. fully agree.

    Yes to Sonny Bill Wooster.

a legal contract needs three things offer, acceptance and consideration, an offer to come play witrh easts, an acceptance via handshake yes mate, sounds good? and consideration, some cash paid in the meantrime the missing 50k? if those 3 things are present then yes hes signed with us! i m a bit rusty on commercial law so those learned fans please feel free to correct me?

A walkout ain't happening. It's a 1 year deal and he gets a lot of money. Don't think he's gonna walkout.
Give us reasons why he'd walk out:
He walked out on Dogs because he didn't want to be trapped at a club he hated.
2 he felt that he wasn't getting the money he deserved as he was one of the top players at that time.
He got a huge offer from Toulon.
        He was young and stupid.

Ok well on the first reason it's only for one year and I doubt we'll perform badly like the Dogs did in 08.
850k is a shitload. Also boxing and Japan will make him a happy camper.
He rejected a 2mil deal from Toulon and won't be going back
He has matured and honouring a deal made 5 years ago only connected by a handshake says a lot. He could've betrayed Politis he could get away no paperwork signed nothin. He quit an All Black team temporarily to honouring a handshake. Does this attitude sound similar to Mason?

Shall I elobarate more. I can accept you not wanting him of overpayment but being paranoid of a walkout sounds a bit stupid dont you think. it's a 1 year deal. Instead do something like say no to SBW being injured or say no to overpayment or boxing but walkout for a 1 year deal.

I feel sorry for you Filthy. You'd be much happier as a goat.

So because he is a club legend we have to just sit back and agree with everything he says?

Yep, let's allow arguably the best player in both rugby codes to play for another club.

Ask any first grader if they want to play with him.

I knew there was a reason I only skim read your posts.

Retarded muppet, oops ,sorry, I mean Retarded Goat... The guy can only be judged on his last actions. He has the chance to change peoples minds if he comes but until then, he will still be known as a wanker who walked out on his mates, his club and the NRL community. Actually, he will always be remembered for that, he has the chance to show he's changed somewhat if he gets here.

I thought his last actions were that he had honoured his contract with the NZRU and was now moving on to a different stage in his career. The action you keep referring to is something that took place 4 years ago. Sonny-Bill and the rest of the world have moved on since then and a lot has changed....maybe its time for you to move on to Filthy

we will the the laughing stock of the nrl

$bw wont draw a load of fans/members thru the gate.

im sure the dogs fans wont come to a game and welcome him back.

half of us members on this site dont want him.

most of the press will burn him and the club for anything.

like they roachy said, all the teams will be running sand dune in november, not sunny.

will come from a soft yawnion holiday and try to man up against season hardend players/team.

one year deal is a joke. the only reason i see a 1 year deal is to make coin from firstly the roosters money, third plarty money and his branding. his manager will be selling the first story to the mags of $bw defection to the highest bidder. hey hey its fatty day will sell their soles to get him on.

if $bw kicks ass with us next year and we get to the finals he will demand more money, if we dont have it he will go to the highest bidder.

if he fails , after round 26 in his presser he will say i only came here to honour a hand shake.

who will get the rights for his first interview.

Jeez, given south's incredible success over the past 40 years he's really been on their bandwagon then!
