Good, let him go. Most overrated player in rugby league.

The bolded ones are those I would like if Pearce was to leave - thin pickings. Especially given 2 are kids that I don't see leaving and the other 2 wouldn't come to us.
Hopefully Kheirallah can step up if Jnr Jnr says bye bye.
- i can see Harry Seijka looking for a new home if Thurston arrives at Penrith.
- Michael Picker is young & talented. If the Raiders decide to choose Sam Williams then we should pounce.
- landing C.Norman would be like winning the lottery. However cannot imagine him leaving Brisb. The 2nd Brissie team would target him.
- Chad Townsend is young, talented & an all rounder. If he can't crack a spot at the Sharks he would be a handy aquisition.

I can see Maloney and Reynolds (and a better coach) tearing teams to pieces next year.
Make it so Roosters.

In my mind, assuming that Kheirallah or Mortimer don't show enough, our options are:
6. Widdop
7. Maloney
(Costly but would be worth it. Great in broken play, comes from a winning team.)
6. Sironen
7. Maloney
(Costly, assumes Sironen continues his good form, probably worth it if so.)
6. Maloney
7. Miller
(Already know what we are going to get. Cheap since he looks to be on the outer.)
6. Maloney
7. Reynolds
(Expensive. Questions over second year syndrome.)
6. Norman
7. Maloney
(Fairly costly. Is he a great player or is he a good player in a great team?)
6. Maloney
7. Thurston
(Ultra-expensive. Amazing player and set of halves. Would he join and do we have the room under the cap? Age and his past injuries.)
To be honest, I'd be happy with all of them except Reynolds and Norman. Reynolds would demand a lot and I'd be concerned that he is another Sandow. Norman I'm not sure has that game-breaking factor in him. Thurston is touch-and-go.Last edited by Spanner in the works; 07-13-2012, 03:22 PM.
