The reason we don't have a 'great' half back is because we have Pearce. Unfortunately the aura of the name Pearce is greater than the player and Smith wouldn't dare to drop him for another half. If he wants to go, that's ok then we can get another half, hopefully a better one.

The Tigers on the other hand get paid to play 6 games at the SFS by the trust,so a third party deal to improve crowds for them would have the same benefit for the SFS as ANZ does...
