Under the current rules, it's a 100% try. But the current rule is shit. He dropped the ball and I'm happy for this try not to have been given, as long as they start callng them all like this. The shit thing is you know what the outcome would have been if it was Merritt or Inglis.

He has got to be the worst nrl player ever to miss easy tries all he had to do was put it down but the dope could not even do that

That's a knock on every day of the week, however in the NRL's rulebook we should've received at the least a Benefit of the Doubt Try if they're trying to be consistent across the board.

This and the blatant Sheppard in the Tigers game just make you wonder what the f**k they're doing up there in the box, multiple replays at slow mo and they stuff up. A bunch of 16 year old kids dutching up could make more sense than them atm.

Sometimes I get the feeling the NRL don't want us in the comp.

                Exactly.

                Inconsitencies are one thing.

Being constantly inconsistant towards one team is something completely different.

I was shocked by the no try ruling as I, and I'm sure a lot of you, watch other games on a weekly basis and see similar tries awarded.
How can I not come to the conclusion that there is an agenda against the Roosters when such things happen on a comparitively regular basis?

Oh please. Not sure which try you're talking about, the one with his foot 12 inches over the line or the one in which his hand slid down the SIDE of the ball and never placed any downward pressure. Either way, correct decision. Suck it up like men and stop blaming refs every time you lose. The victim mentality gets you nowhere.

And being a souffs fan you would certainly be familiar with the victim mentality and even more familiar with getting nowhere. Like absolutely nowhere over the last 40 years.

The latter, and as Warren Smith said, it was a try "for your life"

I thought he dropped it and was comfortable with the decision to be honest. I thought last night was actually the first time we have had a half decent run with the refs all season. We just imploded for 2 minutes and it cost us the game, nothing to do with the refs at all.

its a bit hard for halfwits like you Darque figuring out what we are talking about, so go away and think about it before you post.

I can assure you if the Roosters had won you $ouffs supports would have been blowing up delux at several "correct" decisions that went against you. But you are probably quite happy to cop the win on the back of several forward passes. (not unusal in the NRL)

Saying that, I believe he lost control the rules should determine this to be "no" try, but the rules as they stand determine that this should have been a try.
