The NSWRL haven`t decided on anything yet.Daley could be the next SOO coach if they stick to their fulltime coaching policy.

Maybe not but Stuart said the other night he would do only one job next year.

Wow, Big Mal as QLD coach and Daley as NSW coach. A real brains trust there. Obviously the respective boards think Origins are won on passion and not strategy and tactics....well I guess Paul Vautin won an origin as coach, so there may be some merit in that....

Hope not. That would be a blow I reckon. Everyone wants a coach that has won an NRL premiership but they are hard to come by, and even then, there's no gaurantees. Remember Chris Anderson? Jason Taylor will be a success as a coach. If the rumours are true and Bellamy is coming in 2014 what coach could we possibly attract for next year? Someone who is ok with not having a future with us? A club hiring a coach 2 years in advance puts itself under pressure. And it happens to be the year that Sonny Bill plays for us. Tricky situation. I'm sure Politis knows this and with JT being a great choice(at least as an interim) he might have to move faster than Parra.

The worry of JT getting the Parra gig, is that he would have built a repoir with our Toyota cup players over the past couple of years, he may then try and recruit some of the better prospects over to join him at Parra !

Would that be Shayne Hayne? About time we had a ref in our back pockets..

Agree. The upside could be we retain him in some capacity and bring those players through with us. He is too good to be a lower grade coach too long though. His article in last sundays paper was an eye opener and suggested that the luck of the draw can be just as important as recruiting a great coach.
