Frak orf. The roosters are being robbed blind every week by the refs. It is beyond a joke.

Sadly for the diehard roosters fans that arn't deluded and bias on here the roosters just arn't that good this year. A couple years down the track they will be a very good team if they can get a good coach and maybe one old head to guide them around until Cordner is ready to step up and be captain.
We made the GF in 2010, but were still the most penalised team that year. We were a better team that year & were able to overcome this, it doesnt make it right though.

Before you come on here and start calling people deluded, have a look at the stats in regards to penalties received & conceded over the last 5 years & maybe you'll underustand our supporters frustrations.

The fact that most commentators acknowledge our "problems" with the referees over the last few years should indicate that maybe there's something to it, but maybe there all deluded as well.

Most on here acknowledge it's been a fairly average year at best for us, but it would be nice to get a fair go once in a while, thats all thats being asked for.

I've asked you before to offer a cogent explanation for the penalty statistics that player1 and Spirit of 66 have put forward on numerous occasions. I'm sure you know the ones of which I speak and I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on the matter as an unbiased third party.

Today My personal favourite was the tip on late in the game to the winger being called forward 12 points behind with 3 mins to play Better pull it up just in case

Today there were three forward passes called against us and not one was forward Pearce setting up a try Mini to maubbs then the last one to get the hat trick

It was a job well done by the referees today

PS Some of our players do not seem to care

Well the score was 28-22 then but Id excuse that in a Souffs are Sharks game. We shouldve blown them off the park. So many injuries and NYC players in the squad and we lose?????? Thei a bad squad even at full strength but with Lewis etc. out and a squad of NYC players beating us has no excuse Smith should go. Why cant the board see that.

When have you asked me before?

Well I havn't looked at the statistics so i'm going by your word as well as the rest that say you are most penalised over the last few years. In 2010 it didn't affect you as you were playing at a high standard and winning more games then not. That just backs up my comment that its how the players react that seperate the good from the bad and also that the top 8 is usually always made up of the 8 best sides that year. So no the refs don't solely determine the result of the game unlike most deluded fans sprout on this forum.

If you are most penalised team over the last 5 years I have no comment as to what is the go there and am not one for conspiracy stories. But like many have said Smith isn't exactly known because of his structure or discipline that he instills into his sides (or lack there of) so perhaps that could be one reason for the last 3 seasons atleast.

Either way this years roosters side lacks backbone and folds very easily. They miss Myles and Ryles imo. Both might of conceeded the odd penalty but both never give up or fold when the going gets tough.

Well I hope the roosters players don't have the same mentality as you as they will never turn it around. Like I said earlier go watch the last 20 minutes in the storm v cowboys game. The cowboys got dudded on several occasions but dug deep to win, somthing the roosters havn't done at all this year. I know how it feels as the cowboys have had no backbone for majority of our existence but have finally recruited the right people and got the club going somewhere.

What mentality is that? I've said all along we've been fairly average for most of the year, we all acknowledge that & no one is using this as an excuse for our poor performances, we just want a fair go.

Yes all teams get crap calls from time to time, no doubt about that, bit this crap with the refs has been going on with us for the last 5 years (you would know this if you bothered to check). As i said before, even most commentators are acknowledging this noww

Anyway i cant be bothered repeating myself over & over. I give up with you, its like argueing with a brick wall except a brick wall doesnt give uneducated responses like you do.

Statistics don't always tell the whole story like I said, Smith coached sides don't exactly relate to having good structure or discipline.....

Agree with this, but after 5 years i'd say they pretty much tell the whole story.
