Roz, i think its beyond obvious now that Maubs isn't a centre. He's a right side second rower and that is it. But imo next year he will be 3rd in line to that gig anyway. I could live with a backrow of SBW, Maubs and Cordner next year though. Leilua will probably get another year in the backs even though i don't agree with that. And Guerra and Takairangi will fight it out for the bench second row spot.

I would have no problem with SBW in the centres next year with Guerra and Cordner in the second row. There wouldn't be much difference in SBWs attacking role, and it would take the defensive workload off him. This would mean Moga onto the wing, but given Moga's speed, he would be deadly outside SBW.
Still hoping to see FPN play consistently. If he can do this I still think he is our best option at lock. Whenever the Roosters pack looks good, FPN leads the way. Sadly this doesn't happen anywhere near enough. Maybe he could wear a NZ jersey under the RWB.

Guerra and Aubusson would not get a start in the second row at many other NRL clubs, if any...
I like them both, because they play for Easts, but they are not actually very good..

Guerra still has a lot of defensive deficiencies, I think he's improved a lot this season but it will be more of a concern next year when he's defending next to Maloney. Aubusson will come good, you don't just loose your ability in your mid 20's. He's still without a doubt in my mind our best defender and I think he's been missed on the right fringe, Cordner can be guilty of jamming in and leaving us short on the right at times.
