I think SKD has also had to play alongside makeshift centres most of the season in Sa/Jones/Symonds which does not help at all.
i completley agree with what you are saying, and that does contribute to some of the errors he makes, but thats the difference between a good winger and a great winger. its making the right 50/50 call, and in the past weeks more times than not he has been making the wrong call and he has been costing us. like you said not having a stable centre partner (who is actually a centre), as well has a lack of proper coaching and development has contributed to this. but i still maintain that he does have fundamental errors in his game which i believe needs fixing before he perementaly retains his first grade position.

skd has been a permanent member of our first grade squad for the past couple of years. its a big big call to drop someone who has been a permanent member of 1st grade and has been a shining light for us in years gone by, but thats how far he has slipped.

dont get me wrong, i would love for skd to prove me wrong like he did against the knights.

Most of his matches this season. Don't get too excited about one line break to set up a try.

He's let in about a dozen tries this season and was deservedly dropped.

I'm willing to forgive him if he starts to hold the ball with 2 hands when running the ball back.

SKD had a wonderful game against the knoughts but unfortunately the fundamental errors were still there but just made less noticeable by the good things. I'm not going to slam Shaun as I believe he has what it takes to be what we all want him to be at the Roosters. In his defense, I think he is a product of a lack of coaching or development as are many of the team. Put in a coach that knows what he is doing and watch these players improve.

Iwi Hauraki was good on debut, solid for the most part and that tackle on wicks was a beauty. I just wish he'd pull up his socks!
